Getting LED wiring from engine bay to shark fin - questions

Hey guys - I'm prepping the 4R for when the gobi rack arrives next month. Have LED lighting planned for the front, sides and rear. I'm currently working on prepping wiring on the 4R side (not the rack side).

I plan to run 2x 10awg and 2x 16awg (4 wires total) from the engine bay to the shark fin area. I'll replace the shark fin with a marine portal box like [MENTION=68685]Ducamonsta[/MENTION] did:

I'm trying to figure the best way to get the wiring to the shark fin area. Current thinking:

• Engine bay through firewall grommet below the brake booster
• Under drivers door sill, then door sill directly behind driver
• Up drivers C-pillar

Here's where I get stuck. Assuming above is correct (please provide thoughts if different), how do I get wiring from the top of the drivers C-pillar, underneath headliner, and to shark fin area?

I found this shot looking into the cargo area from the rear in [MENTION=68685]Ducamonsta's[/MENTION] build thread:

Can I pull down the headliner just a bit from the rear and access the shark fin area that way? Would like to avoid removing the headliner entirely if possible.

How do I get this wiring from the C-pillar top to the shark fin area?

yes, you're able to pull down the headliner from the rear down a bit to be able to feed the wires up. for my lights, i ran the wires from the front all the way back to the rear headliner, up thru the rubber boot for the antenna harness and out thru the rear hatch..

At what point did feed the wires into the headliner? Near the front of the 4R? Or at the top of the C or B pillars?
