Getting New 5th Gen Tires on a 4R-TE - Need Quick Advice

I currently have the stock Bridgestone Dueler H/T in 265-70-R17. I am swapping them out with BFG AT TA KO in 275-70-R17. I have a full-size spare.

Do I need to swap out my spare as well? I am not sure it is going to fit where the spare is currently located. Can anyone confirm or deny that it will fit?

I am taking a trip from MD to FL and back at the end of June. I cannot ever remember needed a spare tire before.

Thoughts?

For me, if you gonna take it off-road, then 5 matching tire is a must in my book. From looking underneath the TE, there is not much space for any upsizing.

Then, why are you getting BFG AT KO??? There are plenty of other tires that provide a far better ride and fuel economy. And why did you get the Trail Edition if you're not gonna off-road??

Because I like the "aggressive" tread pattern.

Because IMHO it is the best looking in the 2010 4Runner line-up. I just cannot stand the looks of the SR5 and Limited.
