Getting ready to Plasti-Dip wheels, and saw this today, need HELP!

Ok, so I had to replace my front calipers again, second time in 3 years, but thats not the point of this post. As I was removing and installing my wheels I noticed that my lug nuts, the washer part specifically, rub against my center cap pretty good. I'm planning to Plasti-Dip my wheels on Friday, but to me it looks like it will get ripped right off the center cap when re-installing the wheels. Anybody else encounter this situation? How do I fix this?

after drinking a beer and thinking about this I think I may have answered my own question................remove the center cap BEFORE removing lugnuts and re-install center cap, AFTER the wheel is back on the car?

Yup. That's what Discount Tire did the last time I bought a set of tires. I love that tire store! :thumb:

Just pop off the center cap before removing the lug nuts that way it won't get scratched!
