Gf finally got an fj

So the Gf has wanted an fj for as long as I can remember. She randomly stumbled across a for sale posting this last weekend and asked if we could go look at it. I said sure. 4 hours later we drove it home.

08 , Nice and clean interior. 105k miles, Bilstien 5100s, Rear locker, a-trac, ditch pod lights, bumper lights, arb bumper, sliders/steps and all service records. Has wheels and tires. Not the biggest fan of the wheels but she’s as happy as can be with it which means I’m happy.

Looks good ready to off road..she will have to get used to the blind spots ..a little more rough ride...since you have records check if transmission fluid was replaced at proper interval ?/60000...what is behind the wheel/under the snorkel...was that finished after the snorkel was added..

check the lower control arm mounts. see if the camber adjuster tabs are intact.
if they are still original(folded tabs) start planning to replace them with the total chaos kit.


its about 6 hours start to finish, but they are bullet proof. the stock ones have been known to bend when hitting large bumps, and also during alignments. the bushings seize, and the cam just wipes the tabs off.
