Hey man! Neat pictures! Love your truck. Once again thanks for the body lift purchase! I'm thinking of getting more pictures together so I'll probably use some from this thread.
 
Awesome 4runner and thanks for the information on tires. I am now looking into 33" tires. Thanks again. Sweet truck man.
 
Loving this! 35's, flexing, an awesome dog, what more is there?! But seriously, I love your 4Runner so far and can't wait to see where this goes!

Thanks! I'm hoping to get a few projects done to the 4runner in the next month before hunting season starts!
 
In the meantime I started installing interior LEDs! Thanks to [MENTION=44220]BigFishAllDay[/MENTION] I realized how pitiful my interior lighting was...

First LEDs to arrive so far and all I can say is WOW!!

Nice, Max. Did you grab the same ones that I linked in my build? How did you set up the duals in the middle dome light? Just daisy chain the positive to negative leads? That's a good idea.

Yup! Thanks for the link.

The duals are on the rear, I tried to fit duals in the middle dome but the LED board is just a little too long, a 1/4" shorter and they would probably fit. I'm not to familiar with LEDs but I might try and trim the board to fit.
 
My stock head unit was starting to take a dump and not being able to play music from my phone just made the purchase of a new head unit that much easier!

Pulled out the soldering iron and went to work on the harness.




I'll get some pics later with the new unit in place.
 
Well my suspension has settled a bit and its just enough for the front to start rubbing when flexed or backing up. So today I pulled out the grinder, sledge and welder and I went to work. When I first put on the 35s I hammered down the pinch seam which worked until now.

So first I cut/ground the seam completely flat then hammered it in followed by some welding.

I wanted to cover the gap from when I took the plastic off because without it there was alot of mud getting in the gap between the inner and outer fender. I had some galvanized flashing laying around and it turned out to work great as it is light weight and easy contoured to fit.

The other side had the same treatment.

Tires started to get chewed up :(

Then before I put all the tools away I wanted to address one last issue. My E-brake cable was really tight so I decided to address is by moving it up on the axle mount. I cut a piece of steel and put a slight bend to keep it away from moving parts.

With help from Natemob I decided to go with a pair of Icon 4th Gen 4Runner 2.0 Aluminum Series Shocks. (Part No. 56505).

Install was straight forward without any modifications.

The difference is huge from my wornout landcruiser shocks! On road my rear feel more planted with less body roll. Offroad is were these shocks shine, from slow to fast speeds my runner felt very stable and capable!




The Icons are about an 1" longer




 
So with new shocks installed I headed North near the Colorado border to test them out.























Then I ran into some white stuff.




 
Nice looking 4Runner! I think those Icon shocks will be my next pair (probably awhile down the road).

What kinda of camera did you get?

Thanks! They were a little more than I wanted to spend but I think they are worth it.

The camera is a Canon G7.
