1997 Limited 4runner 4WD
Hey guys, got around to starting my build thread.
History- Got it as my first car my junior year in high school at 17. Spent all of my sophmore year driving my dad's Mercedes E430. The previous owner thought that it would be nice to drive around with a fat crack in the windshield and a broken sunroof. Got it with 150,000 miles. Loved it. Especially how smooth she drives. My mom's got a 2004 Sequoia and that thing's a beast. Too much for me. So the 4runner was an obvious choice for my lifestyle. Snowboarding, skating, and surfing.

I got LED dome/map lights and I got blue LED flex strips that i wired to a switch

Just an idea, but perhaps aim the strips toward the firewall, maybe even up into the dash... It will give more of a glowing effect rather than that intense light it's giving now.

I did...This is an older pic i haven't taken a newer one yet. I pushed them back further under the dash so they look much better. This was just a documentation photo but I'll have a new one up by tomorrow.

It's my dad's...it's a 2001 v8-No AMG but its got Verde Kaos Style shoes on.

Thanks bro. Got really tired of the dirty look so i decided to paint it. Have had it on for almost a month and still looks as clean as when i first did it.

Nice looking truck! I really like the LED floor lights, I have been wanting to do something like that for a while...Did they come with a switch or did you wire one up yourself? Where did you tie into the 12V and ground wires?

They didn't come with a switch, so i just picked one up from O'Reilly for about 5 bucks. I just used the wires they came with. I unscrewed the bolt on the 12v and used connectors there, and i grounded the wires to a bolt behind the grille. Then i just went through the firewall. Hope this helps. If not pm me and I'll try to get some pics up.

Whips

Got a sick picture with my friend. He's got a Mazda 3 with 55w 8000k and his friend's got the civic with 35w 10000k. There was also a nice ditch at this spot that my friend got a video of me doing. I'll put it up once he sends it to me.

New Headlights

I got some new headlights for now. Nokya 7000k Arctic white. They are white during the day and a light blue color at night. They're pretty dope and im pleased. They'll do until i get some hids. Output is really nice too. I thought that the color would take away output but it didn't. Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

Got the deckplate mod done...LOVE the sound! Also took a picture of my rig in Sutter-Stockton parking garage in SF.
