Now, it sounds much better in person. I have a 2nd vid somewhere that's better, but this will have to do for now. FOr those that had the factory TRD system, which was triple the price of this, this is what it sounds like in person.

I may be interested, the flange on my exhaust is starting to warp and leak. Question: why is the 4runner exhaust not listed on the Gibson website?

Well, the SS is only $49 more and gives you a lifetime warranty. But I guess if you aren't going to keep the truck a long time you could do the aluminized to save a little. Or, when sell it, you can brag saying it has a SS exhaust with a lifetime warranty For every 5 systems sold, I'd say 3-4 are SS.

I feel like I should've waited for this sale. I bought it when it was like $540 for the SS + Ceramic tip. Now it's like $399.97 :O

Yes, and you need hacksaw to cut off old system on in one spot, but then the cool thing is the new gibson pipe is flared so it will slip right over and then clamps tight, so no welding needed. ALso, I didn't even know I was going to do a sale until my rep at Gibson gave me a special promo... YES< the price on the site is the sale price.

By chance do you any connections on systems larger than 2.5", such as 3"? Gadget advised me that I should have a larger exhaust than the stock one, closer to 2.75" or 3".

This is biggest I have at 2.5" which I think is good, the stock is piping is 2.25". If you go too big you'll lose low end torque. I think this is the best of both worlds. You won't lose any low end, but will gain mid to upper power (merging onto highway, and highway passing power. As we all know, this truck basically does nothing when you floor it at 70mph, lol. It will help.

I should have mentioned that my truck is not stock by any stretch of the imagination. Mine does plenty when you floor it at 70! Thanks for getting back to me though.

Sure, happy to help.

With your other mods this def is going to give a bump up in power, mileage, etc. 2.5" mandrel bent pipes (not crushed like local shops do when they bend the pipes and the diameter will be less on those bends) help make thinks all work a little easier.
