Easily as good as those, or maybe better. THe muffler is small, and you can def feel the gain. You know it's there, but I don't think there's done to me. It's freaking DEEP, side dual, as that system gets actually a different muffler than the regular single rear exit one, which contributes for an even deeper sound.

SS is lifetime warranty. Aluminized is 1 year. The SS will last forever if you plan on keeping the truck a while.

I just made the snapper and purchased the dual side exit exhaust in stainless steel for my 2017 Limited. I messaged him with my concerns and they were addressed right away!! Very excited about my new exhaust! :naughty:

Yes, that's the beauty of the side dual, you CAN lower the rear window and you don't get that exhaust smell, it's gone. Kinda like the 3rd gen 4Runner factory exhaust, it's out the side for that reason. I can ALSO get you the Borla, but I think this is a much better value, and the side dual sounds incredible on the v6.

Edit: note that the rear SSO bumper is higher than stock which shows the rear exhaust pipe that is usually unseen otherwise

I'd order right now. I really like it. However, just looking for some more input from those who have already installed it?
Perhaps a video of it driving by. Including within the vehicle as they go through the gears would be phenomenal.
Also, it may be asking too much (but I'm sure if you're like me and looking for a hp gain), perhaps a chart showing that gain after a dyno? Lastly, just an assurance that this is OBDII compliant in ridiculous emission testing states such as Cali, Nevada etc...

I wouldn’t get too hung up or worried about actual hp gains. Your butt dyno will probably feel it but I doubt it’s much of a gain. If the engine was turbo’d and you put a full exhaust and tune on it you would definitely see more gains.

This price is never going to be this low again. There might be another sale, but it won't be for months, and it won't be this low again. I'm almost there to getting this sale extended maybe, but need to sell a few more. Try to order Tell your wife/gf it'll give you a little more mpg and save you in the end

I ran the Gibson exhaust for about a year before I got rid of my 2016 4Runner for a TRD Pro Tacoma. (Needed the bed)
The sound was minimal if any. It is not annoying, but you can hear the difference from stock. No drone sound, or loud. You can feel the power and notice it.
The wife didn't complain about it and that's the most important part, right?!
However, I loved the sound it made whenever a Valet brought my rig. Beefy!

It is pretty! You’re gonna LOVE it. When are you putting on? Oh, it’s easier to start the install from the rear. Start at the tips and work your way forward.

Now the good news! I met the quota on this last run and got another 1 week extension!!!

I just noticed this thread. I have had the Gibson Dual side exit exhaust on my truck now for going on a year. I decided to cheap out and go with the aluminum version and I wish I would not have. I live in MN and it looks like after its upcoming winter its going to rust apart.

I love having my back window down and I will say that this does help with the exhaust gas smell.

Sound is great. I have driven about 25k in the past year with a lot of it being Highway. No drone on highway 55-90mph (allegedly). Not very loud even when you have to floor it onto a freeway.

You notice it at idle but not too much.

I have the initial start up video but have no idea how to upload a video. Also since then the sound has deepened.
