***NOTE. Those that are ordering the BLACK dual tipped system, these are taking longer to make right now as these are a full custom setup (meaning, for black version, the pipe and tips are sent out to the ceramic coater, then plated in ceramic, then send back to Gibson, then packaged and shipped directly to you from Gibson) Before, the black tips/end sections were going out much faster and Gibson just gave me this update. Point being, anyone that ordered/orders the dual tipped BLACK versions, it's going to be about 2 weeks - I was just told this. Any other new orders will ship out in about 4-7 business days that aren't black
So which of these pictures are the real deal?

Cool, I have a few that ordered with custom rear bumpers. It will probably sit lower, which you can mod/adjust to your liking after. Remember, sale ends in 3 days!

Sometimes I hate the internet, lol, with old info. The is the latest system is single in single out, then at the end goes into a Y and is all custom welded together, no bolt on tips! You wouldn't want bolt on tips on this specific 4Runner side exit as you'd see the bolted on tips and the contast with the silver piping. This one gets BLACK EXHAUST TUBING and BLACK TIPS, if you choose the black option and everything is welded.
ALSO, this system gets a different/sportier sound muffler over the single rear exit system, not the same muffler, which gives it a little more deeper throatier sound, whereas the single straight rear is a more lighter tuned sound.

Currently installing the exhaust on my limited 4runner and the rear hanger is not long enough to clear the rear bumper without modifying the hanger on the exhaust tip. So I am currently trying to find a solution for that. The instructions specifically say that the exhaust will not work on a limited but besides that I guess the exhaust looks good.

You can text me at 717-319-2100 for an update, or you can also call Gibson and give your last name and they can tell you also. (Note, the black systems do take longer to ship since the pipe and tips are sent out after it's made to get black ceramic coated)

Side exhaust install with pics
Alright, guess I'm the first side exhaust install with aftermarket rear bumper so I'll share it.
Package was received, everything intact. Note that the kit included instructions and pipes for 2 versions, our 5th gen and an extra front pipe for the 4.7l 4runners (shorter than the one I installed).
Everything installed fine without issue. Only thing was some my rear bumper is higher than stock, there was a gap between the side tips and the bumper itself. I opted to cut and reweld the side tip hanger to bring it up as much as I can without having it touch anything. Looks and sounds awesome!

Dunno exactly as I already had the TRD intake and URD y pipe, with an aftermarket (almost stock quiet) muffler
It is a bit louder but no drone.
Perfect, thanks....hoping mine will show up in the next week or two.

I'm a dealer for them too. On the Gibson, depends if you getting the black dual tips or not, that adds some time. Right now, aprox 5-7 business days to ship, with black tips instead of polished dual tips, add more time for the dual.
