I have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner limited. I am the 3rd owner. My family only drives Toyota's because of there reliability. When I got my 4Runner i fell in love with it immediately!! I got it at 180,000 miles for $4,500. It has never had any problems except for an oil leak (last owners fault). It has minor hail damage and a tear in the leather on the side of the drivers side seat.
Recently the air conditioning unit had been messing up so i got it checked out. Apparently there is an issue with most automatic air conditioning units in suv's that were there board gets warped due to heat. So i found a new unit from a savage yard in okc. I paid for it and they said i would receive a email saying it had been shipped. After a couple of days i still never got a conformation email from them. So i called and they had no record of it. Apparently the guy I talked too did work for them but took my money and quiet. They said they were sorry and refunded me my money. So after not being able to find one, i found a place that repairs them for under a $100. It works perfectly now and i cant be any happier.
