Thanks for the heads up. After thinking it over, I'm going to spend the next 6 months saving the additional cash for the Lithium version.
I'm curious what the 4R herd thinks of the Yeti 400 and 400 Lithium in 2 key areas.
First, temperatures. Both models have what seems to be a ridiculously narrow operating temp range (32-104 F) given that they will be used primarily in outdoor living. I camp several times a year where night temps are well below 32. What about storage temps, especially in a hot 4R which could easily get 125+ F in summer?
Second, what do you think of Lithium safety? I'd be nervous every time that thing was plugged in of overheat leading to fire. Other than paying attention to their suppliers, what has GZ done to make the thing safe?

I think you're confusing products here. A Goal Zero Yeti 400 is a portable battery charger. Not a cooler.

That's because you bought the wrong product, you got the cooler instead!!!
To be honest though I looked at this for a second and thought about it but I think I'll wait for a deal on a lithium ion one. Also as mentioned above Anker has Li-ion one that's be around $329 a few times.

Not bad but I'm guessing now that the Li-ion version is out this will become more the norm for this unit.

Yup 1 Day sale. Was on for almost all day yesterday(Sunday 6/11/17). Back to normal prices now.

All of GoalZero's panels are way overpriced, that 30W panel is the price of a regular 100W panel
I am a GoalZero fan and own a few products, but their panels are way overpriced. If you want a solar panel, don't get GoalZero
