If I can offer some brutally honest suggestions:
Don't bolt on stuff you don't need 100 percent of the time. It's something I'm slowly but steadily re-evaluating on my build.
Unless you need to state to the world "I offroad 100 percent of the time" (you don't, but whatever), put them in a carry bag and throw them inside the vehicle, or throw them in the bag on your roof when you need them.
Cluttering up your rearward visibility just to mount maxtrax on the ladder? Ummm...no. Do what makes you happy, but also I strongly suggest having setups where you can scale up, and then scale down easily.

Thats what I mean ... I can bolt on a maxtrax ( TRED for me ... which I forgot because theyre in the garage ) when I went up to Big Bear 2 weekends ago. We saw a jeep stuck on; what seemed to be an easy puddle. But was actually really muddy on the bottom and there was a suburban that hydro locked its motor; as well.
That made me; think I dont have much for recovery equipment. And with me bolting a 3rd row. I'll definitely loose cargo space in the back. Lucky for me a buddy of mine is hooking up a screaming deal on a pair 1660 Pelican for the Gobi rack where I can put recovery gear in ... And I would like to have my TRED's mounted on the GOBI Ladder to keep the Rack free for my table, my ice chest and bbq equipment that I usually bring when we go wheeling...

Yeah I have a couple of their rotopax mounts, I take all that stuff off in winter when I just carry a recovery bag in back. I agree for multi week trips it’s nice to mount all that stuff. I am a family of four and inside space is tight.

Family of 4 is big ... I'm at a family of 6 this April 21st ( baby girl will be born ). So with cargo space being a premium. I need all the space I can scraounge up. I wonder how if I can modify that rotopax mount to accept a TRED's or MaxTrax mount.

Two straps through the holes to suspend and hold in place on the ladder? Though the rotopax mounts could be easily reconfigured for other purposes. Those steps are expensive but I think they are made of stainless steel.
Keep in mind even with Hd struts for the liftgate it can’t hanldle a ton of weight. I put my trasharoo on the ladder and keep my portable potty in there, a couple times when I’ve put a bundle of wood in the gate struggles to stay up, traction mats shouldn’t be an issue alone.
