What they don't tell you is that it will take 30 weeks to get it from Gobi. I doubt that reseller has them in stock (but I didn't read the ad). It's a shame Gobi is a virtual monopoly - their CS sucks bad. I was drunk and ordered one on February 3rd when they were still $350 shipped. They are finally making claims that they are ready to "release it to Fed-ex". I paid the invoice 2 weeks ago and crickets......


Edit - I called Gobi to follow up just now and they asked me if i still wanted to pay by PayPal and I said I paid 2 weeks ago. LOL. They said "OK , I'll try to get you a tracking number today". hopefully your mileage WILL vary. I can climb up to my platform easily, but the wife wants something more dignified. Doubt that I'll ever get her up there, but.....


Final Edit - After Gobi being confused about why it hadn't shipped yet, it appeared in the shipping department at my work a few hours later....sheesh.

You know I actually just logged in to post an update so it's interesting that you posted before I did. Basically the guys from Any Time called me and pretty much pressured me to cancel the order saying it would take up to 20 to 30 weeks. The whole conversation was just very strange and uncomfortable.

I did end up canceling it as I was actually afraid they might try to scam me or something...

Yeah I agree, I really have no desire to give gobi any money but I also really want a damn ladder. Just so ridiculous that nobody else makes one... FFS

I feel your pain, man. Gobi is a company I will never support again. They compete in bad faith and suck at their job. I will be obscuring their maker's mark, as it carries no clout for me.

Agreed, my plan was to actually cover up the logo just so it would look better...

Well now I'm back at square one. Will have to figure something else out maybe...
