Gobi vs Bajarack shipping time?

Anyone know how long does it takes for Gobi or the Bajarack to ship out? I'm only going to be home for a month so I want to see if I have enough time for it to arrive before I have to leave again.

I am not sure about the BajaRacks but I read that the Gobi is about 12 weeks. There was a big thread on it recently.

I ordered a Gobi rack about 8 weeks ago. I hope to have it soon. I'm guessing the total lead time will end up around 10-12 weeks.

Not sure about Baja.

I emailed Gobi last last week asking shipping time. No response.
So I'm guessing they're busy.
Would go Baja route but concerned about the mounts. Are new Baja racks shipping with updated mounts?
Pretty much every good rack has a decent wait time thanks to this forum.

Just to add to the crowd, I've been waiting 8 weeks now for my Gobi. They sent an email saying 6-8 weeks but I figure it was a pre-generated generic response. Good luck!

Called Gobi on Wednesday. Standard racks are 8-12 weeks out, and custom setups are around 12 weeks out.

Don't know about Baja's lead times.

Oh my.... Well I guess I'll just hold off on ordering it. Till 10 weeks before I go on leave again. The C4Fab sliders is 6 weeks production wait also. I should've order these items a long time ago. Poor planning on me.

I took part in the recent BajaRack group buy and I had my rack in less than 8 weeks.

I love my Gobi rack, but if you're only around for a month, you can scratch them off the list. Mine was part of a group buy, admittedly, but it took near as makes no difference 16 weeks to get to me

I ordered my Gobi stealth rack w/ladder on April 20, and was told a few days ago that it is scheduled to ship on Monday, July 18. Mine's a "no-rise" type, not a standard build. Don't know if that makes a difference but thought I should mention it.

May 26th order and July 18th ship is what they are saying. I went with the custom no rise option on Gobi Stealth as well

Their shipment is caught in customs. I emailed Matt and because I have a trip coming up he helped me get some in time (though they are a different color than I originally ordered).

I ordered a standard Gobi stealth through Trail Duty. Order date on 12/9/2016 and then received it on 3/3/2017. Some delayed communications from Gobi when asking on a status; however, when it arrived. A+ on the packaging, A+ on the quality, and well worth the wait. I believe they just need to improve their customer service abilities but if you're willing to blindly wait for a few months, can't be beat. :banana:

Any recent delivery times for Gobi and Baja? I've tried contacting Gobi several times with no success and have emails out to Baja and a few distributors.

I have a trip in August and need a rack on the truck before then. Thanks in advance!
