Going on Vacation

You convinced me to go to Oriellys and pick up a transmission cooler this afternoon. There are multiple ones to choose from, any suggestions? :wtf:

Sorry, just got back online.

Seems your question has already been answered. I put the Tru-Cool on mine and it works great.

You should be just about ready to go by now....drive carefully and enjoy your vacation!

That'll work. It doesn't have a cold fluid bypass, though, and Boise gets plenty cold in the winter.

what does this effect?

i think i will pick up the o'reillys one as well this afternoon as i to have a 1k round trip this friday

do i need anything else to do this mod ?

Don't know what the O'Reillys one has with the kit, so cant answer.

Pretty strait foreward...mount in front of the A/C condenser, cut tranny lines and plug off. Plumb up new cooler lines to and from tranny and away you go :)

The biggest pain is removing the grill and re-installing it.

The biggest pain for me is getting the hoses off the steel tranny lines and put the new hoses in. I had to use knife to cut the old hoses up cuz I can't pull it off. I probably spend an hour on each line...
The grill took like 10 min.
