Golden has a New 2013 4R

Hi All,

New to the forum, Toyota, 4Runner and generally Golden. With that said, I've been here for a year but traveling in and out so much I haven't gotten to know anyone. As for the truck, I had a lovely 2006 Honda Accord LX V6 that I was the original owner and purchased while in Florida. While she served me well in Colorado and I hated seeing her go, it was time for an UPPPGrade! So I purchase my 2013 4Runner on Dec 31st and picked it up yesterday. It was a GREAT deal and I'm looking forward to upgrading it. I've already ordered the remote start, looking at running boards (will be posting a Q on that), and general information.

Looking forward to meeting the Denver, Golden, Springs and Mountain 4Running people.

Is there a local 4runner meetup group?

I'm looking at a little customization but want valuable input before I do much. Also would like to learn about these trails because I do a lot of off trail camping but most of that is drive to X and hike for miles.

Great looking 2014! I have a Classic Silver 2013 SR5 Premium & Convenience Package! I wanted a Trail Edition but I picked mine up on Dec 31st 7pm FOR A STEAL from the dealer. So I'm looking at adding running boards and bull bar, which I will be posting on the correct thread.

Got the PM, thanks. There are some local groups, but I haven't reached out yet. Hopefully pretty soon. For a starter on trail information I have found traildamage.com to be a very good source of info. TrailDamage.com - Map of Colorado Trailheads
Also, be sure to pick up a MVUM (Motor Vehicle Use Map) from the local forest service office. They're free, but you'll need an entire table to unfold one.
