Good Brake Options Besides Tundra Upgrade

So I have a 1997 4Runner w/ 123k miles. I need front pads and rotors pretty soon. I was looking at doing the '01 Tundra brake upgrade, but really can't afford the parts at this time (I really don't want to get used parts either).

So I'm wondering, what are some other options for front pads and rotors? Are there any high quality brands that you guys have experience with that won't break the bank? I can always hit up Napa or another local parts store and see what they have, but thought I would ask the experts here before I make a purchase

What is your budget? Prolly not the answer you are looking for but Advance autoparts has some coupons out right now that may save you some money.. I just picked up a set of remanufacture tundra calipers for 67 a piece not including core charge. If you order online and pickup in the store you get 15% percent off your order and a coupon for $25 off your next order of $50 which will bring the tundra rotors down to the price of the 4runner rotors.. They also have $20 off of $50 coupon floating around the internet that will get you $20 off the pads.. I saved about $100 bucks on my upgrade and I spent about $210 for the tundra upgrade total..
