We simply replied back to one of our customers who was happy with our product and didn't say anything about the Amazon LED kit or our own.

I bought a pair of baja designs squadrons for my fog lights along with there adapter kit. It's pricey compared to just replacing the bulb in the stock fog lights. But, man the output is unreal. Everything in front of you is lit up. For me, it was worth the price when compared to stock fogs with LED bulbs.
And why am I unsurprised there’s yet another whiner announcing themself?
All xenondepot did was reply to a positive comment regarding their product, and nothing negative regarding anyone else’s.

You will get a brighter output and more light on road with an HID kit but not everyone wants or needs a light as bright as HID.

I bought the Simdevamna H11 recommended by the OP for my fogs. I installed them last night and they seem very bright so far. :rockon:
I also have the xenon depot 4300 HIDs for low beams and DDM tuning saber 40w for high.
I would like to allow all lights on at the same time for offroading at night.

I didn’t want to start a new thread for LED headlights so hopefully it’s ok to ask here. I recently bought some Hikari LEDs for the headlights and was wondering if it’s ok to stuff all the wiring inside the housing with the dust cover on? Idk how hot it would get and if it would start melting everything. If it’s ok, I would try to avoid any wires touching the fan in the back of the bulbs.

I thought I'd share my experiences searching for H11 LED headlights and fog lights for my '16 TE. (H11 and H16 are the same interface - H16 is lower power for the fogs)
I did quite a bit of research and decided there were enough fitment problems with these LED lights, I wanted a solution that offered easy returns - so I selected only Amazon-available lights. Even other more expensive options such as Razir bulbs from HIDeXtra | HID, LED, Xenon Vehicle Headlight Kits & Bulbs seemed to have installation issues.
My first two bulbs were from Hikari and Nineo:

Big warning, Hikari "H11" bulbs do not fit the 4runner at all. Neither the bulb socket nor the electrical plug fit. I'm not sure what's happening with the Hikari bulbs, but I frankly don't think they're H11 at all.
Next up, Nineo. These bulbs do fit the electrical plug, but the outer housing on the back of the bulb is to big to fit in the bulb socket. This is because there's a metal housing around the socket making fit tight. It's this housing that requires special care in selecting right LED bulb for the T4R. This bulb however fits the fog lights fine and it's SUPER bright. The fans however are modestly loud with the engine off. Loud enough where someone would ask you what the humming noise is.
So since neither of these bulbs worked for the headlights. I kept trying more. Next I tried the Simdevamna H11 LED bulbs.

My expectations for these bulbs were low, being the cheapest I tried. But they're EXCELLENT! I can't speak to the longevity, but the fitment, noise, and light performance is great. These bulbs should be honestly be more than the others since the power supply design is better. Most of the other LED bulbs I researched requires a separate transformer to power the bulb. This transformer design draws more current, produces extra heat, takes more room, and requires a mounting solution (for the fogs). The Simdevamna has NO transformer AND has a much quieter fan. It's very slightly dimmer than the Nineo, but it's a great performer nonetheless.
In the headlamp sockets, the bulbs produce a smooth white pattern, somewhat brighter than stock. See comparison here: (stock-left, LED-right)

I will be buying two more of the Simdevamna, as they're superior for the fogs as well because of the transformerless design. And they're very bright in the fog sockets. I'm glad I bought from Amazon for easy returns as the Nineo are going back now too.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I bought these per your recommendation and I am having slight fitment issues...they go in to the socket and turn to "lock" the tabs, buts it still feels kind of loose. do you remember having these issues at all? any help would be great, thanks!

Are you using the H11's as fog lights as well? Any issues with wattage/melting?
