Good deal? Bad deal?

I found a 97 4runner limited edition 4x4 96,000 miles in excellent condition; the guy wants $10,900 I couldn't talk to him out of more than a couple $100. I haven't bought it yet but I need some help/ opinions on this matter. Thanks

I know it's low mileage, but it seems pretty expensive to me. Keep in mind it is soon to be 18 years old.

Kbb says it's like 5k to high. It is pretty low miles though, mine has 235 on it and runs great still. Guess it would depend a lot on what you plan to use it for.b

Ouch. Tough to want low miles when these things last as long as they do. Is it worth an extra 2-4k for 50k less miles? Because with 150k on it he would be asking 6-7

Hard to say not knowing what all he's done to the truck. Supercharger? What kind of lift on there, spacer or suspension? etc, etc. But if all he's got is a clean truck with low miles, BFGs and a spacer lift, I'd say you need to ask him to come down to the $7k range or at least share some of what he's been smoking.

This, on the other hand, is a truck I would consider spending $10k on if I were in the market for one.

It took me a few months to find mine, but. I am real glad that I waited. I got a real good deal on it and it was exactly what I was looking for.

There's a few others Ive seen around a 200 mile radius and I guess the right one just hasn't came to me yet lol. I'll keep looking around. Thanks

He said he changed the timing belt and flushed it, everything else seems stock except the tires and the lift. But I agree with you 100% it's not worth that price
