Good deal on a ‘18 ORP?

I recently saw a post on Reddit claiming someone had a dealer down to $38k even for an '18 ORP WITH KDSS, no sunroof or running boards in Georgia I believe it was.
I have a dealer at $39,755 for an ORP with KDSS no sunroof or running boards in Oregon. I thought that was a decent deal because I live in the bay area and the dealers cannot even stock 4runners let alone go down much on the price.
I'm going to need him come down to at least $39k to feel like I'm getting a deal after your post. I don't know about the Georgia guy but I'd be happy with what you have and $39k for mine minus the boards and sunroof.

OP - it's not a bad price at all. Not sure how your market compares to LA, tho.
The guy on Reddit is likely one of the folks here. He got in the $38,500 range for same spec as OP.. but his car had 300 miles, so likely was a demonstrator or a quick buy and regret sale.

I got my 2018 for slightly under $37,500. No sunroof, no sliding tray; it has KDSS.

Contact Angel Chlebo with the Internet sales at Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg. They are offering 5,500 off of MSRP for in stock vehicles excluding the Pros till tomorrow.
I was looking for the truck that you described and was quoted 41,5 OTD a few weeks ago prior to the recent sale, until I recently came across a great deal on a 2015 TEP that I couldn't pass up.

Paid $40,125 + tax for my 2018 TRD ORP, no KDSS, w/ upgraded off-road pkg.
What’s this upgraded off-road package that’s available on the TRD ORP?
Or are you referring to the general TRD Off Road package gadgets?

Was quoted $39,600 +taxes by a Toyota dealership in Denver. T4R ORP w/ kdss and moonroof

As 4R prices go, that's a decent deal. If you feel you have to get something offer $39 flat, but if you jerk around long it'll be gone.

Pro wheels and tires, blackout pkg., with black exhaust tip, rubber 4Runner mats.
We bought ours for a hair under $37k plus TTL. ORP, no KDSS, roof, but did have gray Pro wheels and a skid plate.. Sticker was just under $42k. Different markets will fetch different prices. We didn't really have to negotiate much for our price.. We did have to fight for our trade in though, which I was happy in the end.. And the wife is happy - happy wife, happy life.

That's a good deal imo - seems like nearly at invoice. I just ordered a white one with custom add-ons for $40,500, MSRP was right around $43.5. Mine had KDSS, roof rack, side steps, read deck slider, door guard, TRD Pro brakes and a few other bits and pieces.

Start at 38.5k, but be willing to close the deal at 39K. If the dealer doesn't budge, try to negotiate price of accessories (TRD pro wheels, all season mats, side steps, etc). Not sure if you are planning on financing, but shop around for interest rates. Dealers usually get 1-2.5% kickback if they finance you at a higher interest rate. My credit union offered me 2.24% few weeks ago. If you shop around, you may be able to find even better rate. I'm assuming you have stellar credit score since you are planning on purchasing a $40k+ vehicle.

I had good experience with Toyota of Bowie from Chris Vanderbosch (MSRP $39,078, OTR $36,800) for my ‘18 TRD OffRoad. He gave me the lowest price from the beginning out of about 8 dealers. I tried Costco, NAVY FCU, DOC FCU and NASA FCU auto sale service as well.

I know what I want and the truth is I started shopping last September for 2017s in my area, but stopped when I heard rumors that the new 2019s were going to get a redesign so I made the decision to wait until the Chicago Auto Show and what a big disappointment that was....so here I am back in the market but for a 2018.
Right now I have a bidding war going on between 4 different dealers. I have one down to 38.5 (msrp of 43.1) and will view tomorrow night, but likely won't buy as a different dealer has "promised" to beat the best price I can get.

Got it for 41.6K+tax and fees. Not the greatest of deals now that I've seen what others are getting it for.........oh well
