Good deal? your opinion

Do you guys think this is a good deal?

There is no rust on it and the owner said that they always parked it in the garage. He sent me pictures of the interior and the interior looks great. I am going to check this 4runner out on monday. Let me know what you guys think!

its not a bad deal but its not a good deal, i got mine almost two years ago for $5500 with 203k on the clock... i think they are asking kinda high but then again most 4runner and tacomas go for crazy amounts around portland for some reason...

In the PNW used prices are waay higher than elsewhere. Don't know why, just the way it is.

That is pretty much what one like that would go for in the Denver area. If you like it, buy it.

yeah T4R prices are average 1-2k higher than KBB in WA as far as I can tell. Even so I think they are asking too much for that one.

You could get a limited with a few more miles for less and have a rear locker

If you are mechanically inclined enough to do something like a timing belt I'd say go ahead and get one in the normal 200k mile range, use the TB job as a bargaining point and save your money.

I think it's a little on the high side too but I don't know the PNW market like you guys do. Keep in mind though, the asking price is a starting point. You show up with $8000 cash to waive in front of him, you'll probably drive it home.

Closer to $8k would be it's sweet spot since the miles are low and finding examples in great shape are getting less and less.

I only say this from experience. Ive seen clean 3g's sell within 3 to 24 hours of being on CL here in Nor Cal. That's a clean one and the price seems reasonable

I'd have to go 8-7.5 on it. I bought mine with for 9k at a dealer with 95K on the clock.

I think the price is too high. You can always find a good deal if you have the patience and look hard enough.

I love the comments about how we all think 4runners sell for more in our areas. Ive seen members on here say that about many different states and areas. I think its more based on the individual seller, regardless of the area they live in. Once a person does the research and finds out what a 3rd gen can sell for, they up the game. I see them listed for ridiculous prices around Madison and Milwaukee here in WI too.
