It absolutely blows my mind that even today, in 2010, people read these ridiculous scam ads and still think "hey, it might be legit". What planet are some people living on!?

The guy will email you back today with an email starting with "sorry for the delayed response." He will then say the car is in another state, and that the transaction will be completed through ebay.

I've responded to a few of these "too good to be true" ads...
What I do is:
Ask a specific question such as, "When was the timing belt last changed" and a phone number.
If there is no real answer to the questions, it is probably a scam.

I DO NOT reply to their email after that. It just confirms to them it is a valid email address.

I do not get a lot of spam in my inbox following this rule.

I hope it is legit, but probably not.

Realize its a long shot

However, I am desperate to replace my 98.
That one was a great deal that I thought too good to be true. power everthing leather remote start & alarm. Limo tinted widows 4x4 , tow package, Two tone paint ,grille guard etc.

The deals are out there and some times you just have to check things out while still keeping your eyes wide open
