I know the FJ's most people here drive will be a littler newer than this but im hoping someone out there is an oldies lover and can help me out. im looking at purchasing this and having it as the start for a new 4x4 project (no more 4runner)
It doesnt start but was said to start previous to it being parked (for 5 years :repuke
i figure if i clean the carb and check the coils i might get lucky.
pretty heavy surface rust on parts of frame no holes even from some banging around with a wrench and the pics will let you know how the body is
for $500 and maybe $200 for gas and towing it to my place is it worth it
my main concerns are the frame. if i chemically treat the frame to remove existing rust will it still be a solid base for this project. i do intend on banging on it pretty hard (hence the no more 4runner)
