Congratulations on the new house and property. It definitely looks like an upgrade from your place in Cali. Have you given any thought to filming some of the upgrades you plan on doing to the property/shop? It may provide some pretty cool content and folks who are into turning wrenches usually like seeing other hands on projects as well.

I am staunchly and proudly anti-growth. I don't know how anyone who, like me, wants to escape rat races, and has seen what growth has done to so many formerly "nice" un-rat racey places, can't be. But this is not the place, good luck in Bend.

Again, what qualifies as "nice" is different for everyone. I think the Bend area is great. I don't want to live a a very small town with limited services. I could have moved to a tiny town where everyone knows each other, but that's not what I wanted. I lived most of my life in a huge city surrounded by other big cities. From my perspective, Bend is a small town.

I plan on filming the shop remodel process. Our Bend house is a huge upgrade for us. We feel very fortunate.

I just want let you know that I am super pumped to follow the shop build out and all the sic mods it will yield.

I had been looking for a similar real estate upgrade in CO but found myself completely priced out. Thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through your journey!

As someone who just moved near the Portland Metro area in Spring it'll be nice to see what you get into here in Oregon.
