Good mechanics

I like to do all the work my car needs myself, but there may come a time when I'm in over my head *knock on wood*. I have a hard time trusting anyone else to do work on my car and also don't know of anyone good around me that has experience with old runners. I can't be alone in this.
How about we get a thread going with info on skilled and trusted mechanics in your part of the country?

My dad actually works at a shop on about Belleview and Broadway called Englewood Auto Repair and Body Shop. They do very good work there on pretty much any vehicle out there so if you ever have something come up that you need to take it to a shop definitely keep them in mind!

I'm assuming that's Tallahassee or Jacksonville area. I'm south central Alabama, so closer to the panhandle would be better.

The Toyota dealership in Salinas Kansas. They took my 4Runner in on short notice (running really bad), and in no time at all had diagnosed the problem, and had me back on the road.

AutoServ here in Charles Town WV. Mechanic's name who does the Toyota work - 'Jim'. Great guy, and knows 4Runners. He should - he owns a 2nd Gen!
