Good place to have my brakes bled

So, I did the 231mm upgrade about a month ago and I am still having issues with the peddle hitting the floor. I've tried my best to get all the air out but have had no luck (if that's even the problem). I was also told that my ABS pump maybe bad. Yesterday, I dropped it off to Meineke, and 4 hours later they told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have the proper tooling to bleed the ABS pump fluid all they way.....WTF! Way to let me know before I dropped it off. They said I would need to bring it to Toyota. Now I know there has to be someone out there that can do this.... I no longer have the time or patience.

Dealer has a machine that does it correctly. If the ABS pump is bad, change it out with a used one. A new one costs about $1400. A used one can be had for less than $100.

While changing out the calipers, did you ever let the MC run dry?

I found a couple pumps for a reasonable price, but I don't want to replace it until I know it's really bad. I did have to replace one of the lines and had to pinch it with a vice for 2 days, so I'm sure some air got in. I ran the MC low but I don't believe I ever ran it dry?

And no, I never bled the MC, didn't know you had to. Nor do I know how to.

If it ran "low" it probably went dry. Just bleed your MC and you should be fine.

Bench bleed the MC, then reinstall it in the 4runner and see if that cures your ails.

If not, then you may need a new MC, or find a used one, usually running about $50 in today's market.

Bleed your brakes like normal and then go find a dirt road and jump on the brakes to make the ABS kick in. That should purge the air from the ABS system and then bleed the brakes once more and than should take care of it. Done that a few times and its always worked for me.

If it ran "low" it probably went dry. Just bleed your MC and you should be fine.

How do I bleed the MC, never did it before?
