Goodyear DuraTrac 275/65/R18 - lift? no? how much?

I currently have the stock 265 / 60R18 (Bridgestone Dueler). It's time
for some new tires.

I would like to place some 275 / 65 R18's on the truck. I like the
look of the DuraTrac's.

Do I need a lift (and spacers)? What's the minimum lift if so?

Any other recommendations??

Did you ever come up with a solution on this. I am looking at doing the same thing. I don't really have the money to do a lift and tires right now.

If you are running a stock runner, i.e no lift, then those tires are going to rub...I went through this about 4 days ago and I have 265/70 R17. The tread is aggressive, which I love. It's what I wanted. But yeah, there is rub so I am in the process of deciding where I want to go with this...Daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer lift....or the ome front and toytec coils rear...

For the price and easy install, go with the daystar...tons of people use these and they look great, but if you plan to offroad a lot...go with the toytec lift...also depends on how many miles are on your runner. If you have over 100k then go ahead and get the toytec...You can find threads on both of these all over the place on here.

Save up for it....you'll need both. look at the post above ^^^

But if you can not absolutely afford either one of these packages and really want these tires...I "think" you should be able to get away with them with this top plate spacer...

I'll post up some results in the next week. I just ordered 275/65/18 Duratracs E load set up on a 2.5/1.5 Daystar lift.

I'm still deciding if I'll need spidertrax, but I'm thinking I will in order to clear the UCA's. I'm sure I'll have rubbing somewhere, but hoping that what I've read on here that I can resolve that by moving the inner fender liner forward.
