Long thread bear with me. Ive been looking for new tires since dec and suprisingly the duelers have lasted this long (they werent kidding when they said the tread gets hard) but now I HAVE to get new tires in the next few weeks. I looked at the Dunlop rover MT maxx but due to local price over $1000, and backstocking times they are no longer an option. I really like the BFG TA KO but at $960 they are a little more than I want to spend. I know you have to pay to play. Now Im looking at the Goodyear Duratrac, Cooper ST and Cooper ST-C.
Ive read alot of posts on here where people seem to really like the Duratracs, However a google search turns up alot of reviews stateing that the sidewall strength is nil and the tires are easily punctures. I by no means rock crawl but alot of what I deal with offroad is smaller scattered rock and I have had a a piece of these deulers chunk off. What has everyones experience been? Anyone with Cooper ST/ST-C experience? Pics would be great as well. Thanks
