Got some money to spend..

Well this is pretty much an open opinion thread, while also helping me out. I just got about a grand and I want to spend it on the truck of course! My questions are:
What are the HIDs to get for the highs and lows that are 8K? Looking to put em in the highs and lows.

Where can I find the cheapest bolt on sliders?

For magnaflow exhaust, what is the best to get? I want a very subtle grumble at low rpms but something decently loud at high rpms? the 22", or 24" possibly?

I know I sound like a noob, but I still havent figured this stuff out completely!

Dude, you've been on this forum over a year and still can't search?! There are hundreds of threads on all three!
 
8K HID's would probably be invisible to the human eye. However if you meant 8000k then those would be purple and worthless for anything other than parking lot car shows with the Honduhs.

Can't help you with sliders because I am making my own. And for the exhaust the longer the muffler generally the quieter more mellow sound.
 
I got the Light Werkz HID in my low beams and really like it. The wire harness was a perfect fit, nice quality kit don't buy a cheap HID kit once you have a nicer kit you will understand why. I would not put HID in your high beams I would just go with better bulbs. (HID don't like to be flashed and they have to warm up) You can put some HID in your fogs I did 3000k and really dig it.
also 8000k is worthless! you wouldn't be able to see anything at night personally I would not go past 5000k I did the 4300k. (5000k is more blue than you may think)

For sliders Stubbs are pretty sweet!

And for Magnaflow couldn't tell you, I went with the stainless Gibson.

This is just my opinion but do some checking around you will figure it out.

wish you had a v6. I'd sell you my borla for cheap and you can use the difference on other stuff. Lol.

I suggest the 24" magnaflow. Longer will yeild less drone.

God the things I would do for a Demello bumper... And I know what blow is, but a hooker? Does that attach to my front bumper in case I get stuck?...

i thought v8 and v6 4Runners both have 2.5" exhaust pipes factory? you can sell him your muffler and it'd sound better on a v8

Btw I wouldn't recommend HIDs in your highs, the on/off switch done with high beams is just going to ruin them. HIDs are meant to be left on for extended periods, flicking them on and off is just gonna ruin them quickly. and like rebelbowtie said, 8000k is going to be purple and very ricey.

edit - also for sliders Stubbs HD-SKO ftw

IMO its time to armor up yo, slidders, skids, bumpers,
or adjustable UCA's
or save it for the demello bumper you'd loovvvee to have! have fun spending the money though i cant ever save it eather always burns right through my pocket into someone elses haha.

Huh? what does v6 matter? Like bowtie said, both models have the 2.5" exhaust.

I like 5000k a lot personally but I think you'd be better off going with a philips kit from ebay (overseas). They only come in 4300k & 6000K, I got the 6000K kit for $130 shipped. Took about a month but they seem to be better quality than the other kits I've seen (and purchased)

I have stubbs and several others do as well though I can't think of who off the top of my head. Just search 'hd-sko' or 'stubbs'

double edit- they look a little short in some of the pics because of angles but they're actually the longest sliders available for the 4th gen (71")
