Got The Bug

Back in September, I went halves with my son on his first vehicle. Found a 2002 SR5 4x4 with 260K. It was a Georgia truck and is the cleanest 15 year old truck I've ever seen!

So, fast forward to two weeks ago, my wife's car developed some gremlins that I was not fond of owning out of warranty. Dumped that slob for a 2018 OffRoad Premium. Good lord, I have spoiled her! This is one hell of a truck that I can see us easily run to 300K.

I told her that I have no choice, but to add a mild lift and tires. I'm looking to keep the OR wheels and run pizza cutter ST Maxx.

Let the madness begin!

Congrats and enjoy! My son went with a 2nd gen with unknown mileage. Odometer is fixed, and a new interior is partway in (his wasn't pristine). It is neat switching back and forth between the 5th gen and 2nd gen. Toyota has come a long way with the vehicle, but there's a lot to like about the old ones too.

New offroad Premo

Mr Handsome 315,
Congratulations on the new vehicle. It has about the same features as my 2015 Trail Edition. Of course you need a lift and taller tires. And get some rock sliders on there before you take it off road.

Bad move, your checkbook is screwed...

Nice! Where did you get them from?

4WheelParts

Put them in your cart, go through almost the entire checkout process, then walk away. Within an hour, they will email you with a 5% extra coupon. Mine was 5off.

Already planning our Adirondack expeditions!
