I may be in the minority, but I do not like the color, design or the price tag. I just noticed this as well, but what is the point of having mudflaps with sliders? If you were to ever take your car off a simple dirt road, the mud guard would be the first thing to rip off.

Did you have to use any spacers for those wheels? I have a line on a set and want to pull the trigger!

Wheel choice is a very personal thing .. while the appearance of the TRD forged wheels doesn't float my boat either, they sure are light and they don't have a lot of nooks and crannies to hold gobs of mud or ice. Form follows function, I guess.

I hear ya regarding the mudflaps .. I have sliders and I've yo-yo'ed back and forth on whether or not to re-install my mudflaps. Aside from trail runs, I drive a fair amount on gravel and I think the bottom of my doors will be rock chip city pretty soon without those front mudflaps. Really, if I think about it, when rock sliders are used what they were intended for, paint or powdercoat on them seems sorta redundant just like the mudflaps.

I'm sure any TRD dealer that sells the wheels will have them too.
The accessory kit consist of....

"The "kit" consisted mainly of all new lug nuts, including 4 TRD locking wheel nuts and the sockets."

Are they really needed or will the stock or aftermarket ones work is the question.
453030..... Do they take the same as stock type lug nuts with the flat washer or do they take conical seat lug nuts like aftermarket wheels??

Found this on trdparts4u website.

6 on 139.7mm P.C.D. 106 mm Center Bore.
Sold separately is the Lug Nut kit...(also on this site).... 12mm TRD Spline-Drive Conical-Seat Lug Nut Kit (PTR27-89100)
All TRD Wheels are designed for use with 20 degree OE wheel sensors and fit kits. 20 degree sensors are already on OE Alloy wheels.


So I guess you need the conical lug kit.
