maybe a dumb question here, will the V8 runs better on higher octane than regular 87 grade? just curious. cuz i know toyota "recommended" but not "required" high octane like acura/honda. anyone can tell difference in performance between high/low octane gas?

You will not see any better gas mileage so I dought there will be any better performance. If you are towing I would think it may make a little difference. The ideal octane to use in any engine is the lowest actane that does not cause knock. Anyting higher then that is wasted. Again, what is really important is how clean it burns. Use "Top Tier" gas.
