i appreciate all the compliments guys! i cant believe what a difference they made to the looks of the back end of the truck. im pretty siked about it. Night pics still pending. Im pretty sure my neighbors think im crazy always out taking pictures of my truck lol!

On a sad note for those of you planning on getting these, here is a heads up!

So it rained all day yesterday over here, I was looking at the lights (lusting after my truck as usual) and noticed that some moisture got in the edges of the tail lights lights. I was able to vacuum it all out with a shop vac and seal everything up so no problem there! so if you guys get these make sure you seal them!

This Build keeps getting better and better. Looking great. :thumb3:

Those fit perfectly with the overall look of your 4Runner, great work man. You took the time on the tinting process and it paid off.

When I first saw your pictures I thought you were in Albuquerque, at a glance those mountains in the background look alot like the ones we have here.

haha yeah we've got some pretty cool mountains here. most of them are pretty hard to in my runner but thats cool almost looks like yours! thanks for your compliments though man,

Some sprinklers and hot sun reeked havoc on my truck with the wonderful hard water stains:ak472: Hate those things! :gun4: s o it just gave me an excuse to do a full detail, wash, clay bar, and wax job.

Gosh it looks too much like a Mall Crawler i swear id rather be weelin then bumpin my stereo in a parking lot. cant wait to lift it!

also i too have done an as it stands now pic on the first page, i thought it was a good idea

haha! its funny you say that, today at work while i was at a clients house, i was doin my job when all of a sudden around 10 black cars screeched all around this house, a bunch of US Marshals jumped out with their assault rifles and bullet proof vest, sneaking over to do some major drug bust or something next door, it was like I was watching cops! i was like. :frog: i wanna play!! i could totally pull that off haha.

But yeah IMO i like it better then the full brush guard, I may ditch it and sell it and do something like you with my PIAA's or this will just have to do till i can get some real armor

Anyway thanks guys! if any of you guys want any of your pics converted to HDR let me know! i love making them and it doesn't take me long. gives a whole new look

so this morning i started looking in my local classifieds for the usual: (4runner stuff) and stumbled upon an extremely rare gem, or should i say gems :trophy:
So I text the lady and instantly got her to cut the price in half for me. :trophy:
Plus she threw in am additional thingi that may be worth something! :trophy:

but yeah i just went and test fit the front emblem. big fail! it doesn't fit the other thing is a air bag cable sub assembly i think i may post a thread in the classifieds or sell tiese things on ebay. i paid $75 for everyhting i think i should be able to make my money back dammit!

That sucks that it doesnt fit.. What were all the badges it came with? I see it was for an MR2.

haha yeah it was actually for a limited it has the front emblem, the rear "4runner" the "Limited" and the "toyota" i dont know man i think i can sell these on eBay for a pretty good price. I was also looking at this other thing i have no clue what it is but i googled the part number and its selling for $250 so i think i can profit from this

The 2001 grille emblem has been discontinued for some time now. I searched everywhere... There was also a black pearl antenna nut, which is also discontinued. I've seen them both on other vehicles on the road, they're out there.

The junkyard is the best bet I'm waiting for...

Hey man hows it going? Never got around to posting on your led tails ive been so busy with work lately. Ive gotta say those look great!! You did a good job on them. Have you looked into getting led 3rd brake light? They are only like 30$ shipped? i think on ebay. They have a bunch of the smoked ones up there but of course as soon as i go to buy a red one i cant find them anywhere unless i want to spend 70$ which i wont do.
Looks awesome man keep up the great work and love those HDR pics! Your camera do that or a photo editing software?

Btw, i swapped out the white on my clock for that swatch you recommended and as soon as my gf jumped in the truck she noticed it and loved it! Thanks man i absolutely love the look of it ill post some pics up soon and show ya it looks sick!

cool man im glad the swatch worked for your clock. I haven't got as much feedback so for now all i know is that the white and red are the only ones that work good haha

but as for the HDR stuff im using a couple software programs to get it where it is. I want to save up and buy a nicer camera so i can start adjusting the aperture and get even better results but thanks for the comments man!

but yeah ive been wanting an LED 3rd break light but im a little nervous with the ABS light coming on. it sounds like its gonna be kind of a tough job with resistors and all that stuff? dont know ive got some money now if its only $30 i may have to get one now

So Sleek, that last comment put me in a "I want it now" mood so I just ordered me a smoke LED 3rd brake light. Im also trying to score on a new 70264 super cooler on ebay. we'll see how that goes.

Anybody know if you can buy those resistors for the LEDs at any auto parts store or are they an only online thing?
