GPS for a new Toyota Tacoma

I know i have seen tons of stuff on gps's on this forum... but does any one know what sort of stock SCION or something stock to replace a Taco's cd/radio with the gps navigation unit? thanks guys...

Not too sure what you're asking, but I don't see why the factory GPS wouldn't work in the Tacoma.

The new Taco doesn't use the normal double-din opening. You'll probably need to get a dash kit made. It's even harder since Toyota doesn't offer a navigation system on the new Tacomas. Reason being is that because the Solara also uses a different sized opening for the stock radio, but Toyota made a different dash part so that the regular double-din sized Navigation system would fit there.

Well, if the new Tacoma uses a single DIN slot, then you could always put one of the better aftermarket navi (Kenwood or Alpine) system with a flip-out screen.

The Tacoma uses a weird dash-integrated radio. It's going to make it tough for aftermarket, but still possible. I don't know how they'd crack out the radio though without messing up the rest of that center console piece.
