Greasing Camburg UCA Bushings

So I've been keeping a keen ear open for any noises since I swapped out my CV axles and I've noticed a very quiet chirp coming from my front end when I jostle it on a small dip or pothole. In an attempt to diagnose the problem I figured I will start going through all the bushings and balljoints until I find the source. The truck has 125k on it so it would be a good time to start replacing this stuff anyway. I looked on camburgs website and they recommend removing the entire upper control arm to regrease the poly bushings however the arms have zerks on them. Has anyone just plugged a gun on them and given them a pump and found it to work? I'd even consider loosening the bolt to give them room to expand but I'd really prefer to not remove the entire thing.

I have these UCAs but haven't shot grease in them yet. I am not planning on taking them off to grease. i will just loosen them up when i do. I need to buy a good grease gun first. Anybody have suggestions for those?

Yup, mine started squeaking after a few thousand miles. I greased them using the zerks and a grease gun and they just started squeaking again after 5k miles or so. I just used mobile 1 grease and filled them until it started to come out the dump hole in the boot. I don't know the technical term for it, lol. I used a standard pistol grip gun from Advance Auto. I didn't remove the arms. What is the point of having zerks if you have to remove the arm?
