Does anyone know or have experience with greasing their CV joints? Would this positively affect gas mileage? My brother said having Toyota do his brought his mpg's up by a few on highway at least.
You can buy a needle attachment to a grease gun to inject CV Axle grease in if needed, but shouldn't unless your boot is torn and leaking.
... and I can't comprehend the "gaining mpg's from adding grease to the CV joint" theory. Maybe less rolling resistance? But if you need your CV joints re-greased, you have bigger issues at hand.
