Great Price on Michelin LTX M/S 2's

Hey,

I've been reading this forum for a couple of days, and read some really helpful stuff, thought I'd try to give back. I've been on the search for new tires and I like buying quality stuff, so I decided on Michelin's. Well through hours of research the cheapest I found was on discounttires.com at 164 per tire (702 total included shipping) pretty good I thought because my local guy wanted 190 per tire (that included a military discount), well then I went to discounttiredirect.com and they matched/beat the 164 per mark and I got the set of Michelin LTX M/S 2's in 265/65R17 for 675 delivered. Pretty good I thought. If you need tires check them out, and no I do't work for that company, I'm an old Army Recruiter.

How much does an install typically cost? I'm in the same boat, but my local shop quoted $936 out the door for the 265/65/17 MS2's.

I spent a total of $210, but it also included a front end alignment. So $910 altogether.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I really wanted the BFG A/T KO's, but saved a few hundred bucks and got a tire with a 70k warranty. Thanks for the advice on the Michelin LTX M/S2.

How did you manage to get those tires for that price? I just called and was quoted $208 a tire. Can you give me some advice.
