What's funny about sliders is that the scariest feeling in the world is to drop off a ledge and feel the impact that's soft. When it's a big drop and a jarring impact on rocks - you know you landed on a skid plate. When it's a soft landing - you're probably in trouble.

Aluminum sliders? Spending a fortune so you can save 35lbs at the lowest part of your frame? Taking out the rear seats will remove 85lbs from much higher up. Not to mention what you can do with your roof rack. Keep weight where it helps, remove it where you can sacrifice strength.

i just replaced my ecotechne ladder with c4.
hated the ecotechne. complete garbage. rough edges, cut crooked, rust due to crappy powdercoat, super heavy, useless steps, can't fnd an led to fit into the light spot, hard to hold on to when climbing up, bends easily. Stay away.

Ive had the ladder for some time now. No issues, quick ship and good communication from seller. I would buy again if needed..

Not trying to sabotage OP’s thread. Speaking of greenlaneoffroad,has anyone bought their sliders?How do you like it ? It’s aluminum,so I guess it’s meant for mall crawling and camping.

Nice of them to make innovative products.

However, steel ladders such as from Gobi do not weigh a lot. I would much prefer stepping on a steel rung compared to an aluminum rung of that size. Then again, a lot of people buy ladders just for looks, do in that case, they are perfecto.

Yeah I wouldn't be able to trust an aluminum ladder either /s

I am also really interested by their products. I am just waiting for some more info on the forum before pulling the trigger for their ladder and sliders if they perform good.

Armor and body protection I go with steel.

Anything else I can get away with going aluminum I do it. Even my LFD Off Road Ruggedized Crossbars are aluminum, and they have held up to everything I've thrown at them.

Got the Ladder, bumper, skid plate and “sliders” from Green Lane- putting everything on today. Super stoked on the design, price, speed, quality and overall communication I had with Green Lane.
(Ordered May 13 and received everything to my door May 31. Powdercoated and shipped to Nevada from Canada)

We've had ours on since March. We are using a LFD Off Road Accessory Plate to mount our FuelPax to it, and the bag sits right on top of that. We have been super impressed with the usability and the quality of this ladder...

Did you need to replace the lift struts on your hatch to compensate for the ladder plus accessories? If so with what size?

Does anyone know if this ladder works with the SSO rack? Can you lift the gate all the way open while having the final (angled) crossbar attached?

I did not upgrade them. I may do so later on. I have to take the bag and the FuelPax off to open it up. It doesn't open the fastest, but it will definitely stay open.
