im from gibsonville. i have a 98 limited with a couple minor mods. i know of about 4 other 3rd gens with some work done on em

I live in Winston-Salem now, but planning to move towards the Hickory area within the next couple of months.
 
I'm from Ramseur. Just recently joined this forum, but I have been a reader for a while. I have an '04 Sport Edition. Haven't really changed anything on it, but I have added a Homemade Roof Rack, a Westin Safari Bar, and tinted windows. Just wondering if anyone else was local?

Welcome to the forum man, do you have any pics of your truck? How far away is Ramseur from Greensboro. I wish we could get like 5 - 10 people from around here to have a meet.
 
thanks man, i have some pics. from a trip to obx i need to get them on the computer so i can post them. Ramseur is like 20 mins from greensboro right next to Asheboro.

im from jacksonville and would be up for a get together. ive only got a 3 inch lift right now but its a never ending project. oh and its an 02 sport
 
You can count me in. I'm located in Raleigh and normally go wheelin with some of the guys that works at 4 Wheel Parts in Raleigh.
 
im in greensboro however i am trying find a 3rd gen to purchase ASAP. let me know if you know of any good deals around
 
Asheboro, NC Help with rebuilding rear end

Does anyone know of who rebuilds rear ends within a 75mile radius of Asheboro, NC? New to the forum and rear end just went out. want to see if cheaper to have rebuilt or just buy from junkyard, etc..

I'm in Lexington. Like 25 min south of you. Just bought a 5th gen on last Tuesday. Even though I just got it I'm always looking to mod something.

Junkyard will be cheaper, but a rebuild SHOULD be more reliable. Talk to Chase at East Coast Gear Supply for a rebuild. For a j/y axle call my work, Tri-City Auto Salvage, at 336-375-5871
