Picked up a really nice black '02 SR5 for my daughter. The vehicle is very clean, but will need a good 5-8 hours in paint detail work.

I'll have pictures after the paint looks a bit better.

Until then I noticed a rust spot in the front passengers door jam (the aft part of the door jam) and am wondering if this is common or maybe specific to this vehicle?

I have a 2002 with no rust issues. I have not read or seen this issue before.

Is it repairable? Possibly swap the door from one in a bone yard.

Welcome. I also own a completely rust free runner. Now mine is a 91 but that i would think means mine should be more likely to have rust. So id say its probably just yours. Good luck
