Ive been browsing all the threads for a while, however never took the time to register or post. However seeing as Ive got some time to kill right now, though Id say hi to all the fellow 4runner owners out there

Got the northern eye wall here, so the only scary part is hoping I dont find any surprises on the 4Runner in the morning. Although nothing worse than what I got during Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne last year - but I didnt have my '05 T4R to worry about back then. Was also too busy playing football outside during the eye wall of Frances and Jeanne and shooting off fireworks for those hurricanes to worry

Nice truck and welcome aboard! It really looks scary down there in Florida. I also got a little nervous seeing your 4Runner so close to the gates. Stay safe!

lol yea the gates are deceiving. they actually dont close anymore - its a long story with the city tearing up the yard where my driveway was for new sewers and all that, but dirt and the wood timbers that border the stone driveway prevent them from moving at all. trust me i tested them damn well before deciding to park there (couldnt pull further up cause theres a truck infront of me). I certainly wasnt going to park in the street, as before the eye hit wind was out of the north so blew trash cans and such down the street. The pic you see is winds from the east which is when the eye came ashore. Finally later in the night as the eye passed the winds came from the south, blowing all that crap back up the street, so wasnt going to risk being hit by that.

I really appreciate all of your concern in the safety of my 4runner though
