Been a long time owner of a '95 Pathfinder, but had to get rid of her. She's old, guzzles gas, and no longer suits our growing family's needs.
After test driving a ton of Pathy's in the 01-04 range, on a whim, I decided to look at a 4Runner, even though the prices were significantly more.
So, I ended up test driving an 03 4Runner Sport with the V8. I fell in love and ended up buying it, even though I still looked at more Pathy's after the initial test drive.
I dont have pics right now, but she's been babied by the previous owner, and has 172K KM's on it (about 107K miles). It's in the shop right now getting a new timing belt, water pump, cooling flush, P/S flush, and tranny flush. I will be doing plugs, transfer case, diffs, and oil myself.
I wont be doing a ton of mods to it, as it is one of our family cars, but my wife and I have always been avid back-woods campers. My Pathy has a lot of discrete mods to simply harden it a bit, but it appears stock to the untrained eye - that will most likely be the same with the 4Runner.
