Grey Leather Seats

I have a 2008 4Runner Limited with the grey leather seats. I noticed that the left panel on the driver seat is beginning to wear and starting to have very minute cracks starting, revealing the actual leather tan color. I'd like to catch this before it gets very noticeable.

Any ideas or fixes to polish, etc. I have not been able to find any grey shoe polish, etc.

Thanks in advance,

I have the same thing happening, Anyone have any write-ups or video's on how to replace the cover?

Have not seen a writeup, but it is fairly simple. A few hog rings and clips. It does require removing the seat from the 4runner.

Same thing here on m 07' with 59,000 miles on the odometer. Hoping the tears can be reinforced on the back side down the road at a reasonable cost.

I just bought them. I got the pair. it was cheaper. I tried to do it myself but I did not have the hog ring plier. I ended up taking it to my local upholstery guy. dropped it off in the morning got it back in the afternoon. 75.00 later. he said he could have fixed just the panel for cheaper but I wanted it to match.

the one on ebay is actually a good piece. color match is very good. and it is actually more comfortable than the original. it has another layer of foam under it.
