Good day all... (& happy New Year)

I am the original owner of a 97 4R & love it. Nice to see others with the same appreciation. Just hit 230k kms & going strong.

Hope to get some direction on the following:
I would like to replace my front grill with the 02 version, being that they are the same body (3rd gen), does anyone know if I can just swap out the grill?

Also i have seen people put screen or grill behind the outer grill, where do you get such material?

im not sure about swaping grills, you prob could but the stuff you get for a cheep back grill u can get that at home depot or lowes, its just fencing or wire mesh.

Did you get chrome or blk or paint to match?

I have the Desert Dune paint and I prefer the chrome look( in the process of adding the chrome package found on 01/02 models) so, i went chrome.
The clips are a pain, so be careful not to break them! Burtman industries have a step by step removal procedure on their website, using toothpicks to keep clips in the held open position.

are you talking about doing the gutter guard mod T4R?

the Satonish mod or how ever you spell it. i am putting my High Beam lights behind the grills.
