I've seen some very nice tough grille guards for FJ, land cruisers etc, does any one know if there is one out in the making or someone plans to come out with one

Look at earlier posts. These have been covered for a few weeks now, Aries, Westin and Steelcraft make nice bull guards. The only one that I've seen that is not well designed and constructed is the one by Broadfeet

I think he might be looking for more of a 'Brush Guard', as am I. I do not believe I have seen any posts in regards to full brush guards yet, just a lot of the bull guards.

I had a Manik on my last SUV and loved it, but I can not find a website for them, does anyone know if they are still in business? I find people who sell their products but not an official site anymore.

WAAG was my 2nd choice, but I went with a Manik because their customizations were better flowing with the front grill and lights. I see WAAG makes them for the 4R but they seem to have left off the 07' model year, any reason why?

I will say the 'Brush Guard' on my last SUV saved me a lot of $$$! The radiators on the old Durango were very unprotected, my guard had a 'beam' that ran along the bottom, actually bent it a little off-roading on a very rocky beach once, it would damaged the radiator without a doubt and left me waiting for a ride! It protected the front a number of times from small 'accidents', had a friend leave his rear gate open, backed into my truck. Actually did a fair amount of damage to the end of his door but barely moved my guard. If it was not there it would have trashed my headlight assembly and front plastic grill, and probably done damage to the hood.

I loved mine because it helped keep the stupid little things from being a problem. Would it help in a head on crash, NO way!

I would love something like this for the 4R....

thanks for helping me clarifying this, thats what i,m looking for where i can also put a set of lights, i like a lot the defiant light bar but before making the decision wanted to look into this, i also like the looks and use of a nice front guard, nothing in chrome or over the top a simple good quality for real use

Brush guard vs bull bar

Oh. Well I would think that an area for attachment of these brush guards may be a problem with the new T4R. Seems anywhere you look there's plastic. Maybe someone will solve this??
