Grille Swap

Alright I was drunk last night at a bid party and some kid had a 99-02 limited. Now i've got a 97 sr5 and the grille on his is definitely more bitching than mine..it was after a couple of kegs and finding the kid was passed out that i seriously started contemplating swapping grilles. realizing i was in no state of mind to do that, i come to you guys with a plea for help. first, would they fit snug on a 97 and where the hell can i find one?

yes they would fit how can u steal his grille you need to pop his hood first and have a narrow poking tool to take the grille.

I can get you one of these. Now, there are two kinds, 99-00, and 01-02. What was the exact year of his truck.

4th from top, it's in silver on the page but the one i saw at the bid party was all black...judging by what it says on the description it's an 01-02.

and just so i don't have to make a new thread, does anyone know a place i could take my airbox and have them cut the hole for me? holesaws and jigsaws are few and far between in a college town

first of all, i dont think anyone will help you out if continue to be a jackass about things.
you originaly said you were going to take a complete strangers grill! not cool, got called out on it and then told him to stop getting caught up in the details. why should someone tell you how to take your own grill out so you can learn to steal them? NOT COOL

try to search for things. investigate home depot for them cutting holes in your box.
