Hi everyone. I purchased a 2001 IJM last month and figured I start a build thread.

Intent:
Overland & Camping trips

Major Service

Hello All. Pretty boring stuff this week. I just did a major service to catch up on preventative maintenance. All parts that I used are OEM.

I also attended to a check engine light that just recently appeared. Which I hope is just the fuel cap, which I replaced and the light went away. Hoping it does not come back after a few hundred miles.

Next thing I want to tackle is replacing my diff fluids and start looking into potential lift ideas. Once I decide on a lift I replace all the bushings and such. Stay tuned!

Lower Ball Joints

1/14/2016 - Completed lower ball joints. Paid $203.71 for 2x OEM ball joints from Camelback Toyota shipped to my door. Also started on installing 99 coils in the rear to address my slight rear sag, but had trouble removing the shocks so I stopped and put everything back together. Unfortunately I'll be gone every weekend for the next 4 weeks due to snowboarding trips, so I wont be able to revisit the coils till then.

Lift!

Finally installed the lift! King Coilovers, King Rear Shocks (adjustable), OME 906 springs, Total Chaos UCA's, adjustable panhard bar, diff drop and front and rear braided brake lines. The reverse rake is bothering me so I may get some trim packers to level out the rear...

I think you're going to find that you'll have a hard time leveling out that truck with the 906s. You may want to consider upgrading to 890s.

Installed Transmission Cooler

Installed a B&M 70264 Transmission Cooler in series with the radiator cooler.
OAT = 80°F
Speed = 70 MPH
Trans Temp = 145°F

Mileage = 202,390
