Ground wire identification please.

Changed out the old spark plugs today, and found that this wire (see pic) is not attached to anything, and I can't find where it needs to go, so, where does it need to go? On my mustang, that is a block to firewall ground, so my guess is that it is a ground, so can I just find a bolt, put a new ring connector on it, and ground it to the block?

Thanks
Ted

thats not underneath thats from above.
its a factory grounding wire.

did you say it was disconnected?
thats wierd unless someone took it out but yea thats a ground just connect it back to the block cause thats already on the chassis

It was snapped off at the connector, but there's no room to check the block for the other piece. I guess i'll just start unscrewing bolts back there until I come up with one that has the broken ring on it.

Thanks
Ted
