Group Buy...3 skids for $440 on TacomaWorld!!

Hey guys, don't know if anyone posted this yet...but RAT Products is doing a G/B over on Tacomaworld.com. Seems like a great buy...$440 for 3 piece skid. Or he will break it down and sell any 1 of the 3 skids for $125. I guess the bad news is this ends like 11-12-13, which is just a couple of days.

I don't know anything about this guy or his company...except what I've read on the forum. Just thought I would pass this on in case someone's looking for skids.

Yeah, someone did post this a week or so ago....cant remember who it was though. Looks like a good deal. I don't think you will find a better one.

So what exactly would this cover on our Rigs? I know it costs about ~$500 plus shipping for front and rear buds. ~$300 for a gas tank skid. Is it direct bolt on? What is the quantity compared to makers?

Skids are skids. These are built out of the same gauge steel as budbuilts and look pretty similar. Pretty similar as far as mounting goes also except I dont think there is a steering rack mount for the front skid (not sure so dont quote me). Only difference I see is that his transfer case skid goes all the way to the frame rails (unlike budbuilt and others) but it seems to not come as far towards the gas tank. Take what you want from that, if i didnt have budbuilts already these would be a contender.
