question about "group buy"
1. Is it really a "group buy" if you are a vendor?
2. Can you run business on the forum without being a stated sponsored member?
2. Are you making money or getting a better deal as a result of the "group buy?" given that you are now a vendor?
Like others, I'd like an idea of how this is working if I am considering dropping $1200+.
Don't get me wrong, I love to see some stoke for a product, just wondering what is the ground rules and motivation for doing so.

I'm waiting for Gobi to respond to a few different things. They can be slow to respond at times. Thanks for your guys' patience. I am also waiting to hear back about the HD strut.

3. I am an authorized dealer for Gobi. Yes I am making money, that is how businesses work. I obviously cannot offer these at "cost".
The motivation behind this is to offer the 4R community the best possible deal on Gobi products. I'm not going to make a ton of money doing this but it gives me the satisfaction of knowing i'm hooking people up. Is that a bad thing?
A few members have already placed their orders with me which are now in process with Gobi.
btw- I put together a GB for Shrockworks a few months back which netted that company about $70k in sales. I did not receive anything extra for that. All I'm trying to do is use what business sense I have to get the products I want at a better price then retail while offering it to others. (large quantity=buying power).

Yea I've been a Gobi dealer for a few months now but was hesitant on posting because of the "rules." I will definitely get back to you once I get more info on the Struts.

Now that I know you are official I will just come to you once I am ready to order. Can I ask to have mounts for vision x lights welded on?

I'm thinking of purchasing the Ranger one, but have some questions. If i had a sunroof, do I have to pay etra for the sunroof insert? Also Can I have my without the mesh flooring (would be extra $$). I'd rather have the cross bars so that i can clean my roof top. Last question, Do i have to drill more wholes to mount the rack. Because i Know u use the factory mounting locations but the front of the rackt has no where to screw them down....?

HD struts are in stock. They are $145 for a set of 2. Price includes shipping to the 48.
Ladders and other accessories are in stock and ready to ship.
Stealth and Ranger racks have a 2 week lead time.
The Stealth rack adds 7" to the top of the roof.
